Schaumburg AQMIII - Upcoming Review
Having owned a few internal-bezel divers (Hamilton Khaki Navy, Ball Master II Diver and others), I have always been a fan of this stype of watch. When the opportunity to review Schaumburg's latest 500m came about, I jumped! here is the model in question:
Classic looks, combined with bulletproof ruggedness, this one is going to be FUN, FUN, FUN!

Watch Forums for Dummies - Article Revival
In January of 2003, I started an article called Watch Forums for Dummies (title was/is still a work in progress) and I managed to interview most of the major players on all the elite watch forums. Michael Sandler, Dr. Thomas Mao, Brandon Sparks and Ernie Romers just to name a few.
This artcile was slotted for 2000-4000 words and was to appear in the March 2003 edition of InSync magazine. The article quickly became a behemoth and I never managed to finish it in time for my late January deadline. I did not realize how big it would become and how many people would actually participate.
Well, I still have ALL of the completed interview questions and I am planning on putting it all together on a multiple page Internet article for Time2watch.net. This is something that just cannot be done in a magazine.
Stay tuned, hopefully I can get this one done within a reasonable amount of time...

Resco Patriot - upcoming Review & Interview!
The long awaited Resco Patriot is finally making its way to their new homes and I will have the privilege of reviewing one for the readers of Time2watch.net. Here is the one I selected:
I chose the brown dial, as it is not very common and I also look forward to testing the somewhat unusual, yet interesting and so far, controversial movement it houses. If you have not seen this one before, then you probably do not frequent WUS, so for those of you who want to know more, click on the following link:
I will also be interviewing the principal behind this watch and hopefully, the Navy SEAL that helped with its design!

Wolf Designs - UPDATE
Just got an update from the good folks at Wolf Designs, turns out instead of the Roadster 2.7 double, I am going to be receiving the Viceroy 2.7 single with storage.
Ultimately, this may be more practical for me, as I have a few non-mehcanical watches that need a good home, as opposed to sitting on a shelf. I cannot wait to try out all 57 settings! Does it not just ooze sophistication? And at a retail of only 350$, what a winder!
Much, much more when I receive it... STAY TUNED!!!

moVas Pro Diver gets a NEW bracelet with help from yours truly!
Hi Guys,
I have been in conversation with Sean Wai from moVas regarding their upcoming Professional Diver. During our discussions, he asked my opinion on 3 link vs. 5 link bracelets. I was honest with him and said I preferred neither. I firmly believe a good SOLID dive bracelet should be a 2 link system, where the center link is surrounded by the outside links. Similar to what Ball does with their divers.
ALL bracelets stretch! Do not kid yourself, it may feel tight right now and most of us flip our watches way before stretch ever develops, but for those who hang on to their watches and wear them for their intended purposes, stretch eventually creaps in. The only way to really avoid this is to have a solid link system, as described above. Well, here are the results:

We also discussed standard screws vs. hex for link adjustments and lug attachments. We both agreed that HEX screws are the way to go. The added security and ease of use, not to mention the increased macho-factor are well worth the effort.
More on this model real soon!

Welcome to my BLOG!
Trying something different!
As much as I have wanted to stay away from the whole "BLOG THING", it has grown on me and I can honestly see great value in it for the regular readers of Time2watch.net.
I will be using this venue to bring updates and news of upcoming projects, as well as my comments on new watches I see around the Internet. I do not plan on competing against OceanicTime or Ablogtoread, as they are fantastic ESTABLISHED blogs and even I visit dayly.
Instead you can expect my frank comments and some fun from yours truly!
So sit back and enjoy the ride, should be fun!!!
As always, thanks for reading,
Marc
