Crepas LeGrand - NEW PROTOTYPE!

I have been following this micro-brand for quite some time and have even had the privelage of exchanging emails with Pablo (the owner). I am quite impressed with his company and him as a person. I wish them all the best of luck with his new watch! Here are a couple of recent prototype pictures:

Some details from the Crepas website:

The making of Le Grand

The process of design has gone through several steps.  When the design was concluded there were five versions in which several aspects have gone being improved on ergonomics and appearance. The first version tried to correct the brick look. The watch was very little-ergonomic, with very sharp edges and with an unharmonious design.

Trough the second and the third version the case became thicker, the case side longer, the bottom side was rounded and the crownguard was made more organic. The watch had a more uniform aspect. In the fourth version it was solved a step existing in the back part that produced a lack of comfort. In the fourth version the case back side was over.

In the fifth and last version the definitive crown was added. The design was already finished.  We get the watch we were looking for. An organic and ergonomic watch with a modern design but with a classic look.
