BASEL 2016: Eberhard Scafograf 300

Introduced in the 1950s, the Scafograf has evolved over the years to conquer the hearts of divers everywhere, not least thanks to its sturdy good looks and guaranteed water-resistance to 100, 200, 300, 400, 750, even 1,000 metres! Now Eberhard & Co pays tribute to this icon of the deep with an almost identical replica of the original Scafograf, which it has reinterpreted in the same sporting vein. The robust steel case, unidirectional rotating bezel in ceramic and, unusually for a dive watch, date at 3 o'clock remain highly desirable attributes of this timepiece, which is equipped with a safety valve to release helium from inside the case. This new Scafograf 300 ensures optimum reliability, and promises to stand up to shocks and pressure. The supremely legible dial, highlighted with Superluminova, makes this an essential dive watch that is equally at home underwater as for everyday casual-chic wear.
