The latest timepiece in the 2010 Heritage collection, Black Bay is the perfect illustration of Tudor's vintage mood. Inspired by a 1954 dive watch, its design takes on new, larger contours. The result is a modern, 41-mm steel case, water-resistant to 200 metres and equipped with a domed sapphire crystal that mirrors the curve of the black dial. The generous hourmarkers have been given a luminescent coating for instant readability. The pink gold of the hands and hourmarkers represents a gentle hint of nostalgia, suggesting the characteristic patina of older timepieces. The exclusive burgundy red colour of the unidirectional rotating bezel is given a matt finish to stunning effect. With characteristic attention to detail, the same burgundy red circles the insert for the winding crown, which is engraved with the Tudor rose. The watch is delivered with two wristbands: a black fabric strap and a choice of steel bracelet or exclusive aged brown leather strap. |
